Exciting and Small

I love to paint on Ampersand Gessoed Panels and enjoy the fun of working small.  Seeing the brushstroke signature, the fresh color, and the intimate viewpoint is wonderful.  D.C. Apartment is an oil on board 6" x 6" original.

Successful Show

We had a chilly and overcast day for the Utica Square Art Show in Tulsa and it was fantastic!  Lots of visits and good interaction with customers.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by.

My heartfelt THANKS  to friends and fellow artists Jennith Moncrief and Pamela Winters for their early morning help in setting up the booth.  I couldn't have done it without you!

These are works in progress - small oils on board of scenes from some of our travels.  I'm really enjoying the architecture and play of the light and shadows.  These will be available in Tulsa, OK at the Utica Square Art Show on October 6; a beautiful outdoor show in Midtown.

The Mimosa Tree

This little house perches on the roadside near our turnpike entrance.  When the sun hits the weathered siding and the mimosa blossoms are next to the  gray and white colors, it is a magical sight.
